Man charged in deadly ATV accident that killed a child found not guilty
LIBERTY, Miss. (WLBT) - The Amite County man accused of causing an ATV wreck that killed a 10-year-old boy has been found not guilty, according to the Enterprise Journal.
Cody Rollinson was charged with aggravated DUI and felony leaving the scene of an accident in connection with the April 6, 2025, crash that killed Jordan Hill.
Rollinson’s trial began Tuesday in Amite County Circuit Court before Judge Debra Blackwell.
Witnesses told 3 On Your Side that Hill was on an ATV when he was hit by Rollinson’s truck.
According to an indictment, Rollinson was under the influence of marijuana at the time of the accident.
