SACRAMENTO, Calif. (Gray News) - Authorities in California say an ABC television station in Sacramento was struck by gunfire in a drive-by shooting on Friday.

“I do not have any suspect information to release, and I don’t know a motive,” Sacramento Police Officer Anthony Gamble said. “I don’t know if this was targeted or if this was a random act. I don’t know how many shots were fired, but it does appear at least three rounds struck the building.”

Officers say they are still searching for the vehicle involved in the shooting as well as the person responsible.

Friday’s shooting comes just days after ABC suspended Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night show indefinitely over his remarks about Charlie Kirk’s death.
