Barack Obama brings his presidential campaign to Jackson State University on Monday. The U.S. Senator from Illinois will appear at a rally Monday evening at JSU's Athletics Assembly Center.
A heavy turnout of students is expected, but the event is open to the public. Doors open at 5:00, and security will be tight. Organizers are asking attendees not to bring bags, signs or banners.
Two recent polls show strong support for Obama among likely Democratic voters in Mississippi. Thirty-three elected delegates are up for grabs here in the Magnolia state.
