Mississippi Valley football fans, with the release of the 2018 football schedule, the Dancy Era of Mississippi Valley State University football action is near.
The Delta Devils will open the 2018 season with back-to-back road games. The season opener will be held on Thursday, August 30th in Grand Forks, North Dakota, when MVSU takes on the University of North Dakota.
September is a short one for the MVSU, as they will only play two contests during the month. MVSU will travel over to Jacksonville, Alabama, to square off against Jacksonville State University on September 8th. On September 22, the Delta Devils will host the Braves of Alcorn State University in Rice-Totten Stadium at 6:00 pm.
October opens on the 6th of October, when Mississippi Valley travels to Daytona Beach, Florida, to face off against the Wildcats of Bethune-Cookman University. On October 13th, the Delta Devils are scheduled to take on the Tigers of Jackson State University in Jackson, Mississippi.
October 20th, Mississippi Valley returns home for Homecoming 2018, to face the Golden Lions of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff at 2:00 pm. The following week, the Delta Devils will travel to Houston, Texas to face the Tigers of Texas Southern University. The two will meet at 2:00 pm.
November comes in with Mississippi Valley traveling to Grambling, Louisiana, to face the Tigers of Grambling State University on November 3rd. November 10th, MVSU will host the Pirates of Hampton University at 1:00 pm.
Mississippi Valley's final home game will take place on November 17 at 1:00 pm against the Alabama A&M Bulldogs.
On November 22nd, Mississippi Valley will travel to Montgomery, Alabama, to square off against the Hornets of Alabama State in the Turkey Day Classic.
