Jane Segal has been in TV news broadcasting for almost 20 years. This is her second time around at WLBT. When Jane left WLBT in 1983, she was a general assignment reporter and weekend anchor. She moved to Memphis in '83 and started immediately at WMC-TV, where she also reported and anchored.

A native New Yorker, Jane considers herself a down-home southerner since she has lived in Vero Beach, Florida; Jackson, Mississippi; and Memphis for quite some time.

Jane has a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Bernard M. Baruch College in Manhattan.

In her spare time, Jane loves to watch old movies from the 1930s and 1940s and silent movies as well as silent foreign films. Jane's happy to be "back home" in Jackson, especially since quite a few of the folks who were on the air at WLBT when she was here the first time are still here now.
