Lauren Hoffman was born and raised in Dunkirk, MD. She’s a big fan of all DC sports, especially the Washington Football team.
She attended Kennesaw State University on a lacrosse scholarship where she majored in Journalism and minored in Sports Marketing. During college she worked the on-air host for the Owl Network and sideline reporter for ESPN3.
Upon graduation, Lauren worked as a project coordinator for Turner Sports. During her time there she worked on projects for NBA TV, NBA on TNT and March Madness. Her dream has always been to be a sports journalist, which brought her to WLBT in Jackson. She’s excited to tell local stories, be apart of SEC football and cover the legendary Deion Sanders.
In her free time she loves to exercise and try new brunch spots. If you see her around say hey!
