It forces me to stay on my toes and challenges me to improve my news gathering, because viewers are able to ask questions in real-time. I also enjoy being able to contribute digital, audio and video elements to support our amazing investigative team, the 9News Investigators."

Kevin’s early work includes reporting on politics, community affairs, and culture for publications in the city of in New Orleans. Additionally, while working for New Orleans Public Radio station, WWNO, Kevin served as producer on a number of radio broadcasts, podcasts, and live engagement-reporting events. One production was a storytelling event for which the signature components were that it was nomadic - no single event was held in the same location - and held in unconventional, non-performance spaces (empty lots, housing projects, grocery stores) within the New Orleans community. Those spaces were converted into venues.
