Caroline Klapp

Reporter

Caroline joined the WAFF 48 News team in November 2019 as a reporter and multimedia journalist. She grew up in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, so she’s not a stranger to the south.

Caroline graduated from Texas Christian University with a degree in journalism in December 2016. In school she worked for her student newscast, and interned for the Ryan Seacrest Foundation in Dallas.

After graduation she moved to northern Michigan to work for 9&10 News, a CBS affiliate. Caroline worked there as a web producer for two years and was promoted to the weekend reporter. After about three years at 9&10 News she moved to Huntsville in 2019.

She says her favorite part of reporting is getting to meet new people and tell their stories. And she’s excited for a break from the snow she had in Michigan.

When she’s not at work, Caroline loves to practice yoga, run, watch movies, swim and bake!

You can catch Caroline on the morning show Monday through Friday.

If you have a story idea, or just want to say hi, you can send her an email at cklapp@waff.com
