Brandy McGill joined the WLOX News Team in December of 2019 after graduating from The University of Southern Mississippi.

Brandy grew up in Hattiesburg, MS where she attended North Forrest High School. In high school, she was active with student media when she became a member of the digital media program where she shot, directed, and edited short films.

Brandy interned at WDAM News 7 in Moselle, MS where she learned about producing and reporting.

Outside of work, Brandy has a passion for being a mom to her son. Whenever she has any extra time on her hands, she enjoys shopping and exercising.
