Brady Talbert joined the WSFA 12 News team in May 2021. Brady grew up in Alabaster with a camera in his hands, teaching himself to edit video in middle school. After joining his high school’s broadcast team, Brady discovered his passion for news.
Brady earned a degree in Broadcast Journalism from Troy University. There he served as a reporter, anchor, and student news director for TROY TrojanVision News, the university’s television station.
Over the years, Brady has told stories over television, radio, print, digital, and, more recently, social media through an internship with NBC News. Brady enjoys the thrill of chasing stories that matter to the community.
When not at work, Brady can be seen hanging out with family and friends, being involved in his church, or devouring delicious food (nachos are his favorite).
