JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - Republican incumbent U.S. Rep. Michael Guest has won reelection to Mississippi’s 3rd Congressional District.

Guest defeated Democratic challenger Michael Chiaradio and Libertarian candidate Erik Kiehle to secure another term representing the district, which covers central and parts of southwest Mississippi.

First elected to the U.S. House in 2018, Guest has held the seat since taking office in January 2019.

Throughout his campaign, he emphasized a platform focused on limited government, lower taxes, protecting Second Amendment rights, and restricting abortion.
