Teen among group arrested after string of carjackings

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - Jackson Police Department is boasting their Criminal Apprehension Team after a string of carjacking arrests.

Commander Abraham Thompson says two arrests were made Saturday.

The carjacked vehicle was tracked down to Lindsey Drive and the two men inside were arrested.

Randarrell Oliver, 29, and Christian Ingram, 27, are both charged with carjacking.

A 16-year-old was arrested in connection to a carjacking that happened on January 25. Thompson says Ridgeland police took him into custody after eluding JPD officers.

Thompson says the 16-year-old is responsible for at least three other carjackings.

JPD is seeking the acquaintance of this teen: 19-year-old Keshun Chambers.
