JSU awarded over $400K for research project
JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - Jackson State University was awarded $412,380 by the National Science Foundation, U.S. Rep. Bennie Thompson announced Wednesday.
The money is part of a project called Excellence in Research: Fine Structure of Exciton Levels in Lead Chalcogenide Nanocrystals.
The research will be done at JSU to help develop the science, technology, engineer and math workforce.
