JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - A former Jackson police officer has been sentenced after pleading guilty to obstruction of a federal investigation.

Anthony Coleman will spend 30 months in prison followed by 3 years of supervised release. This after destroying evidence of his involvement with a 16-year-old.

He was arrested in May of 2020 for child exploitation and plead guilty to obstruction earlier this year.
