Man killed after argument involving dice game in Copiah County

COPIAH CO., Miss. (WLBT) - A man has died after an argument resulted in gun fire in Copiah County.
It happened Friday, March 12 at 11 p.m. when police responded to a disturbance on Railroad Avenue in Georgetown.
When they arrived at the scene they found the body of Jonathon Buck, 37, in the parking lot of the Georgetown Apartments. Buck had been shot.
Arrested at the scene and charged with Buck’s murder was Travis Collins, 40, who surrendered to the deputies.
Collins is being held at the Copiah County Detention Center without bond at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
Sheriff Byron Swilley says the violence stemmed from a dice game.
