2021 Jackson Mayoral Debate: Candidates take the stage for the first time

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - The first debate for the 2021 Jackson mayor’s race took place Thursday night, March 4.
The candidates involved included:
Democratic:
- Chokwe Lumumba
- Ken Wilson
Republican:
- Ponto Downing
The topics given to the three candidates ranged from the Jackson zoo to what they would do to curb crime in the city.
