Jackson State football on pause due to COVID-19

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - The Jackson State football program has paused all team activities due to COVID-19 and contact tracing within the team. A source within the Jackson State Athletics department confirmed with WLBT that the team will be up and running again soon.

Under new head coach Deion Sanders, the Tigers’ first game of the spring season is set for February 21 against Edward Waters at Mississippi Veterans Memorial stadium.
