First Alert Forecast: Clouds have moved in & rain chances return tonight...
Clouds have returned ahead of our next system, which is set to bring rain chances back to the forecast tonight... Temperatures will still be able to lift into the upper 50s, near 60°, this afternoon and we’ll spend much of the evening in the low 50s and upper 40s. Rain will move in from west to east around 10pm and most of our impacts will be felt overnight. But, rain could still bring impacts to the morning commute for our eastern counties. As the system exits to the east, windy, colder, & cloudy conditions will remain in place through the day. A few lingering showers will also remain possible!
We’ll be much colder wrapping up the work week and getting into the start of the weekend, but we’ll also be dry in this time frame. Morning lows will drop into the low 30s most mornings & afternoon highs in the 40s are in the forecast Friday through next Monday.
Possible impacts are still possible for Sunday night-Monday as we track that second system... Questions remain as to how much precipitation we get (if any) with that system, and what type of precipitation would fall. There are several outcomes possible with this system & we’ll be fine tuning this forecast as we get closer. Stay tuned for frequent updates!
