JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - A cooler trend is on the way. Tomorrow will be cloudier than today with highs in the upper 50s to near 60 degrees. Rain will move in tomorrow night and Thursday, but severe weather is unlikely. Highs will be in the upper 40s and lower 50s for the rest of the week. There will be a mixture of clouds and sunshine, but rain is possible again by Sunday into Monday. A few snow flurries are possible as well, but the system is expected to track far south, far enough for it to get cold and dry around here for a few days into next week. Morning lows will be close to freezing. Average high is 56 this time of year and the average low is 35. Sunrise is 7:02am and the sunset is 5:11pm.
