‘The Rock’ shouts out small Miss. town in gifting truck to old friend

WALLS, Miss. (WLBT) - Did you know Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson lived in Walls, Mississippi?

It’s true. Over the holiday, Rock shared a story about his old friend Bruno and included a tidbit about the small Mississippi town.

The story came as Rock was gifting Bruno a new truck, with Johnson sharing the story of how Bruno took him in.

Rock says at 15, he was sent to live with his dad in Nashville when plans changed. Instead, he started his wrestling career in Memphis. With nowhere to live, Bruno let him live in his trailer in Walls--a short drive from Memphis.

“Enjoy your new ride and give Walls, Mississippi my love and gratitude,” he wrote on his social media pages.
