MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Mississippi Emergency Management Director Gregory Michel has tested positive for the coronavirus.

MEMA says Michel is currently in self-isolation and doing well.

All employees who were in close contact with Michel in recent days have tested negative for the virus.

MEMA says it is taking the necessary precautionary measures to keep all of its employees safe.
