Wednesday Night Weather Forecast

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - We reached a high of 72 degrees today, which is twelve degrees above normal. The morning low was 33 degrees, which happens to be 5 degrees below normal. So, in effect, our temperature rose almost 40 degrees today with sunny skies. Expect the same type of weather tomorrow and probably Friday too, with lows in the 40s and highs in the lower and middle 70s. There will be a few more clouds Friday and some late night or early morning showers and thunderstorms into Saturday morning. Saturday will be cooler with morning showers tapering off to mostly cloudy skies with temperatures in the 60s. Sunday will deal us plenty of clouds with a chance for cold rain showers too. Highs will be in the 50s, but may stay in the 40s if the rain arrives early enough. Chilly and unsettled weather is likely next week with highs in the 50s and lows in the 30s. Severe weather this weekend and next week looks minimal, if any. Sunrise is 6:51am and the sunset is 4:56pm.
