RANKIN CO., Miss. (WLBT) - Ground has been broken for the 2021 St. Jude Dream Home, in Crossview Plantation in Rankin County!

The foundation is already down, and framing has begun. The house will be just over 3,000 square feet and will sit on a little more than one acre of land.

Last year, WLBT raised $1.1M for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and we can’t wait to do it again, along with Deep South Custom Homes and Crosstown Builders.

“It’s been 12 years of doing this project. It seems like something we look forward to every year. We didn’t get to go to the hospital this year with COVID; it’s something we try to do, to make it hit home again,” says Brian Burkley of Deep South Custom Homes.

“We had a great time last year in Madison County. Even though all the COVID, all the delays, four months of rain. But today we’re out here on a bluebird sunshine day so it’s nice. It’s gonna be nice this year,” adds Todd Sandridge of Crosstown Builders.

WLBT will keep you posted on important dates, including when tickets go on sale, and when the 2021 St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway will take place!
