Sunny and dry conditions have lasted into our Thursday! Temperatures will lift into the low-mid 70s this afternoon and will drop quickly into the 50s and 60s for the evening commute. Although another chilly morning is ahead of us, temperatures will be gradually warming into the weekend! As high pressure continues to shift eastward, our winds are shifting out of the south, allowing for this gradual warm-up and increase in humidity. We’ll also notice a few more clouds into the weekend for this reason.
Highs in the mid 70s will be the theme for the weekend with dry conditions lasting for any outdoor plans, until we get to the late evening hours of Sunday! That’s when our first cold front will be moving through the region, sparking a few showers across the area into the start of next week.
We’ll temporarily dry out into Tuesday before another system moves through Tuesday-Wednesday... This one appears more robust and will likely have more showers and storms associated with it. Our severe threat with this is low at this time and the rain should exit in time for any Thanksgiving plans, but we’ll watch the timing and strength of it closely in the coming days!
