Former JPS teacher found guilty on 2 counts after fondling Provine High School student

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - Former Jackson Public School teacher, Reginald Barnes, 50, has been found guilty in Hinds Circuit Court on 2 counts of sexual battery after fondling a Provine High School student in 2018.

The crime happened August 2018 and Barnes was arrested in October 2018. He was released from jail the same day on his own recognizance.
