Body found in vacant house

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - Jackson Police Department is investigating after a body was found in a vacant house on Wednesday morning.
The body was discovered on Officer Thomas Catchings, Sr. Drive just after 10 a.m.
Police say the body had a gunshot wound and was at the vacant house for a “significant amount” of time.
