Gov. Ivey approves military help for Hurricane relief in Louisiana and unrest in Wisconsin
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - Governor Ivey has approved the Alabama National Guard to help in Wisconsin and in Louisiana.
A spokesperson said Gov. Ivey approved the Alabama National Guard to send four Black Hawk helicopters to Louisiana Thursday morning to help with the hurricane’s impact.
Ivey also approved the Guard to send up to 350 military police to handle the unrest in Wisconsin following the shooting of Jacob Blake.
