Meridian police investigate murder of man found in vacant home

MERIDIAN, Miss. (WLBT) - Meridian Police Department is investigating a murder that happened Memorial Day morning, WTOK reports.

Officers were called to a vacant home on 42nd Street near 10 a.m.

The body of Jeremiah Chapman was found inside. Police say he had been stabbed.

Police arrested two people connected to the case.

Isaiah Clark, 19, is accused of killing Chapman. A juvenile female is also in custody.

Police say another suspect is on the run. Earnest Clark is believed to be driving a red Chevy Caprice, a vehicle that belonged to the victim.
