Fishing lake floods, drains after heavy rain

HINDS CO., Miss. (WLBT) - Holmes Lake Dam in Hinds County flooded after hours of heavy rain Thursday.
Hinds County Emergency Management Director Ricky Moore said he was called to the area near Oakley Palestine Road Thursday night.
By the time crews arrived, the fishing lake had drained after flooding caused the dam to breach.
Two vehicles and a nearby barn were damaged by the flood water.
