JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - Tate Reeves will become the next governor of Mississippi, the Associated Press reports.
The tightly-contested gubernatorial race between Tate Reeves and Jim Hood wass at the top of mind for many Mississippians who went to the polls Tuesday, with reeves apparently coming out on top.
There are also a number of seats up for grabs within the counties and the state.
Republican Lynn Fitch was declared the winner as Mississippi’s first female Attorney General.
Delbert Hosemann was declared the winner of the Lieutenant Governor’s race.
