Portion of Tombigbee St. in Jackson to close Tuesday for roadwork

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - Road crews will close Tombigbee Street between Jefferson Street and Commerce Street from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday.

This closure will allow a utility contractor to install a fiber optic cable under Tombigbee Street.

Motorists will be detoured one block south to South Street.
