Homeland Security leader in Jackson to discuss efforts to address targeted violence

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - Today, Acting Secretary of Homeland Security Kevin K. McAleenan is in Jackson to address the Homeland Security Advisory Council’s Subcommittee for the Prevention of Targeted Violence Against Faith-Based Communities.

During the visit, he will meet with Chairman of the Committee on Homeland Security Rep. Bennie G. Thompson (D-MS) to discuss Department of Homeland Security efforts to address targeted violence.
