Hooters closes its doors after 17 years in business

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - A Jackson restaurant that opened 17 years ago is closing.
The “Hooters” on Interstate 55 south of Northside Drive opened in 2002, after an unsuccessful attempt to locate in Ridgeland.
WLBT called the restaurant Monday and was told that their last day of operation was Sunday, July 14.
It is unknown at this time if they will reopen at a different location.
Hooters also has locations in Gulfport, Hattiesburg and Horn Lake.
