ADAMS COUNTY, Miss. (WLBT) - The Adams Co. Sheriff’s Office responded to a complaint about a woman at the Thompson Head Start school.
Deputy Terry Thames responded and talked to a woman named Chandise Martin who said that a woman named Rhondraneika Thompson hit her in the face while they were talking in the hallway at Head Start.
Rhondraneika Thompson, of Natchez, was charged with simple assault and grand larceny of personal property.
The complainant, Ms. Thompson, said came to the school because of an issue with her child.
Ms. Martin said that Thompson was yelling at her and she had walked away from her into a class to avoid any further incident with Ms. Thompson, but she continued to come at Ms. Martin and struck her in the face several times.
The incident was caught on camera at the school. Martin defended her self only after she was hit.
After the incident Ms. Martin said her I-Phone x (10) valued at $1100.00 was taken by a family member of Ms. Thompson.
Ms. Martin said that she was able to ping her phone and it was located on North Rankin St.
This incident is still under investigation.
