First Alert Forecast: Summer heat cranks up!

Big time heat & humidity continues as we approach Memorial Day Weekend! High pressure remains to our SE, ushering in muggy conditions that are making near 90° temperatures feel like the low-mid 90s. A potent storm system to our NW could bring us an isolated shower to two tonight into tomorrow, but most of us will stay dry!

Temperatures only rise from here as a ridge of high pressure strengthens and centers over the Deep South through the end of the work week and into the holiday weekend. Because of this, completely dry conditions are in the forecast for any outdoor or travel plans you may have! Temperatures this weekend are anticipated to reach the mid 90s, with feels-like temps in the upper 90s, near 100°. Be sure to stay hydrated in this time frame as this will be the hottest we’ve been all year!
