Our warming trend has begun! Temperatures started off near 60° this morning and are quickly lifting into the low-mid 80s for the afternoon hours. Clouds will pick up a bit into the afternoon and evening, and we could even see a shower try to form for the commute home. A weak disturbance is also allowing for some showers and storms to our NE... although a few of our extreme NE counties could see a shower or two from this activity, most, if not all of us, will stay dry today!
A ridge of high pressure continues to warm us up into the rest of the work week, eventually leading to near 90° temperatures by Friday! Moisture starts to pick up into the weekend, however, as high pressure slides east. This will increase our mugginess and also allow for isolated showers and storms Saturday. A surface front will approach the area by the end of the weekend, bringing scattered chances back to the forecast Sunday-Monday.
