Its been closed for about six months after giant salvinia was found.

Wildlife officials have been working to eliminate the highly aggressive plant and they say they believe its almost gone.

They'll continue to fight it but until they've got it all out of the water -- some areas will be restricted.

Boating will be allowed on the north shore from Fox Bay to the edge of the Pearl River Valley Water Supply District property south of Highway 25.

Boats will have to pass inspections.

Fishers are also required to clean their vessel and trailer at newly installed washing stations as they get in and out of the water, to make sure they dispose of any possible giant salvinia.
