VICKSBURG, MS (WLBT) - Two men are wanted by Vicksburg police after a car chase ended in gunfire and a wrecked vehicle.

On Monday, May 13th, official responded to an accident around 12:14 p.m. on Drummond and Forrest Street where they found a wrecked silver pickup truck. After crashing, the people inside the truck fled the scene.

Police then learned that a shooting had occurred before the wreck.

A white Honda Accord was chasing a silver truck when shots were fired. Multiple shell casings were found on the street and a house was hit by a stray bullet.

The Honda Accord was driven by 22-year-old Keyaudre Cortez Fultz, also known as “Country Boy.” One of his passengers was 19-year-old Jshon Lantez Ross with the nickname “Scooter."

Ross was taken to the hospital by a private vehicle following the car chase with a gunshot wound to the upper body. He was treated and released.

Police are now searching for both men who are wanted for drive-by shooting and shooting into an occupied dwelling. Fultz and Ross are considered armed and dangerous.
