18-year-old who drowned at Cleary Lake identified
Divers and sonar equipment were called to the lake in search of missing person.

RANKIN COUNTY, MS (WLBT) - Cleary Fire Department and other agencies were on scene of a drowning at Cleary Lake in Florence Sunday.
Rankin County Coroner David Ruth confirms that an 18-year-old man’s body was recovered from the lake.
He was identified as 18-year-old Matthew Hamilton of Florence.
He went missing around 2:00 Sunday afternoon while swimming with friends.

Sheriff Bryan Bailey says that Rankin EOC responded to the scene with a boat equipped with sonar equipment. Divers also assisted in the search.
The circumstances surrounding his drowning are under investigation.
