JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - Four Mississippi Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) were recipients of Home Depot’s 2019 “Retool Your School” grant program.

Jackson State University, Alcorn State University, Mississippi Valley State University and Coahoma Community College were among the ten winners, each receiving a $50,000 campus improvement grant.

In order to win, HBCU supporters had to vote for their favorite HBCU through Twitter and Instagram using the school’s designated hashtag.
