Multiple arrested after gunfire, police chases, and a fiery crash in McComb
The New Orleans Police Department is investigating an armed robbery Friday night at an Algiers gas station.

MCCOMB, MS (WLBT) - An alleged shooting led to two chases and a fiery crash in the city of McComb Friday.

On April 19, police officers were dispatched to the intersection of 3rd Street and Missouri Ave in reference to shots being fired between two vehicles. Officers were already in the area and attempted to stop a vehicle that was believed to be involved. The vehicle led officers on a chase through the city until it crashed and caught fire.

Police had to rescue the people inside the car because of their injuries they sustained in the crash. They were transported to Southwest Medical Center and later air lifted to the UMMC in Jackson.

Hours later, police attempted to stop the second vehicle in which officers believed to be involved in the shooting and again the officers were led on a chase with that vehicle. The chase ended on I-55 north of McComb after the driver decided to pull over. That suspect was taken into custody without further incident.

The names of the suspects are begin withheld due to their ages.

The incident is still under investigation.
