Second storm-related death confirmed in Amite County

AMITE COUNTY, MS (WLBT) - A man has died after storms blew through the state on Thursday.
Amite County Coroner Campbell Sharp says that 25-year-old Kenderick Magee was killed while driving in the severe weather.

The company car he was driving crashed on Bean Road in the Gillsburg Community. Magee died as a result of his injuries.
A candlelight vigil will be held for Magee on Monday April 19 at 6:30 p.m. in Town Square in Tylertown.
Magee’s death is the second storm related death from Thursday storms.
