A warm and pleasant afternoon with temperatures near 80 along with a mild southerly breeze. We remain dry tonight as lows dip into the middle 50s. Clouds increase Wednesday as moisture returns in advance of our next storm system. A brief passing shower is possible Wednesday, but the main threat for widespread rain and strong to severe storms arrives Thursday. The greatest severe risk is over the Southern half of Mississippi by late morning into the afternoon. Damaging straight line wind, hail, a few tornadoes, and flash flooding are all possible. Rain ends Thursday night followed dry and pleasant weather for Easter Weekend.
