NWS confirms EF-1 tornado touched down Sunday night in Wilkinson County
Family of four loses everything after tornado destroys mobile home.

WILKINSON COUNTY, MS (WLBT) - The National Weather Service has confirmed that an EF-1 tornado touched down in Wilkinson County Sunday afternoon.

According to Mattie Powell, the Wilkinson County EMA Director, the tornado touched down in the eastern part of the county in a town called Centreville.

A mobile home was destroyed and a family of four lost everything.
Trees are down in other parts of the county.
