JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - William Parker, a 38-year-old white man, died Monday, March 25, 2019, after being shot two days earlier, according to the Jackson Police Department
Sgt. Roderick Holmes said the initial shooting took place at a home on Bass Avenue sometime after 7 p.m. on March 23.
Investigators believe the shooting stemmed from a fight between Parker and his neighbor over Parker’s dog, which was injured after attacking the neighbor.
Holmes said police took a man into custody and questioned him, but have not made any arrests in the case.
