SURVEILLANCE: Man shot during armed robbery at Jackson convenience store
The suspect took the victim’s things and then fired at the victim before driving away in a gray vehicle.

JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - A man was shot during a robbery near the the Robinson Food Mart in Jackson early Thursday morning.
This is the second armed robbery that has happened at this store in the past three months. An armed robbery took place at this store on October 24th when two armed men walked into the store and demanded money.
According to Sgt. Holmes, the shooting happened at 3:30 a.m.
When officers responded to the business, they found a 32-year-old man who had been shot in the arm. Officers learned that the victim was robbed by an armed black male in dark clothing wearing a ski mask.
The suspect took the victim’s things and then fired at the victim before driving away in a gray vehicle.
The victim was transported to a local hospital and his injuries are considered non life-threatening.

Sgt. Holmes says that investigators are reviewing store surveillance and this is an active investigation.
