Murder suspect dies after assault at Raymond Detention Center

HINDS COUNTY, MS (WLBT) - A murder suspect died in a Jackson hospital after he was assaulted at the Raymond Detention Center on December 6.
Dominique Martinez Griffin was transported to UMMC for treatment. He died Friday afternoon.
Griffin was charged with murder of Rastafian Beasley. Beasley was shot and killed on Fontaine Avenue on December 2.
This incident is currently under investigation.
