Missing Hattiesburg woman suffering from dementia found in Adams Co.

JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - The Silver Alert for a missing Hattiesburg woman has been cancelled after she was found safe in Adams County.
84-year-old Virginia Barrett was found on Hwy 84 with her dog by the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.

The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation issued a Silver Alert for 84-year-old Virginia Barrett of Hattiesburg on Wednesday.
She went missing around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at 87 Richburg Road, apt C-1, in Hattiesburg.
Family members say she suffers from dementia which may impair her judgement.
She is now back home safe.
