NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Coach Payton pointed to three “stolen” possessions as reason for the Saints victory over the Giants.

P.J. Williams forced one of the fumbles that was recovered by Marshon Lattimore. The other fumble recovery came on a sack of Eli Manning at the end of the contest.

The other stolen possesion came on a fake punt call by the Black and Gold. Taysom Hill connected with Justin Hardee to convert a fourth down conversion.

“We made the big play on special teams, I thought that was important. We stole a possession there. You only get a 11 or 12 possessions a game, so when you get one of theirs, with two fumbles, two of theirs. That’s three more possessions, those are big plays,” said Sean Payton.
