The Murrah & Mississippi Valley alum comes to JSU after spending the last 5 years as Prairie View AD. He was introduced June 5th in a packed JSU Student Center.

During his tenure in Texas, the Panthers built new stadiums for football, soccer, and track & field. Academics have improved at Prairie View 7 teams received a perfect APR score in 2016 (women’s bowling, women’s cross country, women’s track, women’s volleyball, women’s golf, women’s tennis, and men’s tennis). A recent USA Today report showed that Prairie View had the most revenue in the SWAC in the 2017 fiscal year.
It’s not Robinson's first stop in Tiger World. He served as the assistant compliance director at JSU in 2007.
Robinson played point guard at Mississippi Valley and is the single-season & career assists leader. He was inducted into the MVSU Athletics Hall of Fame in 2011. Robinson served 9 months as Delta Devils AD in 2012 before going to PVAMU.
